Real Temp is a free, portable Windows utility from TechPowerUp for monitoring Intel Core CPU temperatures. It reads each core’s digital thermal sensor (DTS) and shows how far the chip is from TJMax—the temperature at which thermal throttling starts. Features include per-core calibration, a sensor test, min/max logging, PROCHOT# alerts, and optional high-temp shutdown. No installation required. Intel Core only – Pentium 4 and AMD are unsupported.
