Opera’s New Browser with Built-in AI Assistant Aria

Opera’s parent company is replacing its namesake web browser with Opera One, a new browser that incorporates artificial intelligence (AI).
Opera One introduces its own AI assistant called Aria, which is completely free and accessible through the browser’s sidebar. Similar to Bing Chat on Edge, Aria utilizes ChatGPT, an OpenAI language model.
In addition to the knowledge from GPT, Aria leverages internet data to provide answers. Positioned as a foundation, Aria takes real-time internet results into account and can search for content, generate text or code. The module also includes the AI Prompts feature that Opera launched earlier this year.

Aria is open to everyone, with one condition: users need to have an Opera account and log in to the browser. Furthermore, users can customize the Opera One sidebar to have quick and direct access to ChatGPT.

The interface of Opera One has become more modular. For instance, the browser dynamically adapts to display only the necessary modules in the foreground based on the content being viewed.

Opera One is available for download today on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
